Hermès
Hermès was founded in 1837 primarily as a Sellier & Saddlery by Thierry Hermès. Hermés quickly gained a reputation for luxurious leathers and quality products. 180 years later, Hermès remains the number one choice amongst connoisseurs of ultra luxurious products. Hermés is well known for using only the finest materials.
Hermès has four workshops across France. They are located in Pantin, Ardennes, Lyonnais and Lorraine. The Pantin workshop focuses on creating the Birkin bag. Production time for a Birkin will vary depending on its size and on which materials are used. It will take one craftsperson a minimum of 18 hours to create just one Hermés Birkin bag.
